About Us

Our Family Craft, Made With Love

Michelle Roberts

Founder & Master Basket Weaver

That's me, the basket-weaving lady behind Baskets by Michelle With Love.

I hand-dye all my reed, weave every basket from scratch, and create custom pieces for homes all across Northern Kentucky.

I’ve been weaving baskets for over 20 years, with a break in between to raise my two girls. I originally learned to weave through basket-teaching classes, and I fell in love with the craft right away. For years, I attended the guild convention in Indianapolis, learning from incredible teachers and expanding my skills. I even served as the President of the Heritage Basket Tree Guild in Dayton, which was one of my proudest roles in the weaving community.

Recently, I rediscovered my passion for weaving and knew I wanted to share it with the world again. Creating baskets is my therapy after a long day — a place where creativity, calm, and joy come together. I love trying new techniques, traveling show the community my work, and dreaming up fresh ideas for future shows.

My favorite baskets to create are always the new designs — the ones that challenge me, inspire me, and remind me why I fell in love with weaving in the first place.

My Husband Jeff

Jeff served in the U.S. Army for eight years, proudly fighting for our country before becoming the muscle, builder, and problem-solver behind this business. Anything I need — whether it’s something built, stained, painted, repaired, or taken apart — Jeff is the one who handles it.He designed and built all of my custom craft show displays, helps with loading and unloading, sets up and tears down at every show, and brings so much dedication and support to everything we do. He is my partner in life and in business, and I truly couldn’t do this without him.
